The Fair

Date of occurrence:
October 26, 2008.
The Fair has been around for ages.

Today was the first time for both boys to get acquainted with the Fair. Besides all the rides, cotton candy, funnel cake, and other food stands, our Fair always has a petting zoo.

Knowing how much little Kc loves animals, that can not be passed up! Nope, Opa and Oma did not go. They are deaf enough as it is and did not want to add to that this year, with all those loud jingles, music and rides. Grin. So, off the boys went, with their parents and aunt.

Just like we expected, Kc loved the petting zoo. He was not afraid at all and even fed the goats. As a matter of fact, he could not get enough of them. He did not really care much for the Merry Go Round. He actually was not that merry at all, being on it.

As far as Kc was concerned, had the fair consisted only out of animals and cotton candy, he would have been a happy camper. Maybe we should put it this way:

He would have Faired well. :-)

I saw a smaller set-up like this, it was a free walk through of different animals -- goats, zebu, a tiger, camel, llama, etc... Point being, they had a baby tiger there and you could pay to hold and get a picture taken with it. It was awesome!

Mr Joan Croft,
They used to have different animals like that, but I don't think they had one last year. Maybe they will again. I sure hope so.

God's Grace.
