Not A Happy Blogger

You may have noticed that the posts on my grand sons are all dated. I did this because those little quirks, occurrences and situations were already logged from the moment they were born. I started this blog much later and was trying to catch up to the present.

I really had fun doing it, until now. The reason is that as of June 15th 2009, our daughter left here to pursue her wants, took our grand babies with her and has refused to let us see them or visit with them ever since.

We miss those little critters tremendously. We don't know how they are doing, where they are staying, or even if they are in a safe environment and/or company. We fear the worst, seeing how she has pulled stunts like that many times before. The only difference with then and now is, that she did not have any children then.

Experience has taught us that when she does this, her wants are not what would be best and needed. She usually surrounds herself with others who encourage and support her to pursue her wants and the last have always turned out to be hurtful to either herself and/or everyone else who loves and cares for her. By now, we already have the knowledge that this is the case.

I try to maintain my blog about the babies, but every now and then it is emotionally very distressful. I know, I should not complain; there are grand parents who have not seen their grand children for years and some parents may be in the same position. Still...., it hurts.

There are a few things she could and never will be able to take away from us: our love for God, our love for our grand children and yes, in spite of all she has done so far, even our love for her as a person.

We pray that God will keep a hedge around the babies, keep them safe and that He will have mercy on her as well.
