Eager To Share

Date of occurrence:
June 19, 2009.
Lil' Kc is 2 yrs and 4 months old.

Watching two active, little boys constantly is pretty exhausting, especially at my age and not being used to it anymore. A routine is established rather quickly, but building up the energy and stamina keeping up with them takes a little longer.

As long as I stay busy I am fine and simply crash at night, but as soon as I sit down during the day, my eyelids have the tendency to drop and stay shut for a while. I usually take a nap when the boys do, but today I fell asleep on the couch while they were being watched by their mom.

I vaguely remember she tried to keep them quiet. I became fully aware they were munching on some crackers when I woke up with a start because a cracker was shoved in my mouth. After the initial shock and having found my bearings I saw lil' Kc standing in front of me, holding a couple of crackers, wanting to share.

How sweet!
I smiled at that generous gesture and could well imagine he did to me what he would have wanted to be done to him. Yeah, even in his sleep he would not mind having food shoved in his little mouth.

As long as it tastes good you can feed him anything; he is like a little trashcan. It does not bother me; our second oldest daughter used to be the same and she turned out fine.

I have no doubt this little critter will as well.
