A Healthy Treat

Our grandsons love playing with our dog, although I am not so sure she is so thrilled about it; our youngest grandson can be a little rough. She has a sweet disposition though and she usually gets out of the way, lays down, yawns, and chills out.

When she yawns, I get a good look at her teeth and I noticed that they are accumulating some plaque. She is always in for a tasty snack and if that snack cleans her teeth and freshens her breath as well, like the all natural Nylabone Nubz, it will kill two birds with one stone.

These gluten free treats can easily be broken in to bite-size snacks and the store locator tells us exactly where we can buy them. We probably should sign up and register with Costco. There is a $3.50 coupon in the Costco monthly coupon book for Costco members, valid from August 19th – September 12th.

It may be a good idea to have our grandsons give her some of these Edible Dental Dog Chews. I suspect both the boys and the dog would enjoy it. I better stick around though, because our youngest might try this doggy treat himself. In case he does, at least we know he had a portion of real chicken, without any added sugar, salt, or preservatives.

He sure wouldn't have to brush his teeth that night! :-)
