Standing Her Ground

April 27, 2010.
Emmy is 6 and a half months old.
It is funny seeing how Emmy is trying to master some sort of mobility. She should be in the process of learning how to crawl, but it seems like she has decided to skip that step.
As soon as she is on her tummy on the floor, she pushes her little hiny up in the air as if she is ready to stand up. It looks like she will succeed at any given moment.
It is too cute to watch and the tendency to cheer her on is great. Unfortunately, her actions are not getting her anywhere, but she is either hard headed and will not have it any other way, or she has not made up her mind yet.
I suppose if she keeps practising, eventually she will stand her ground. :-)
