What's In A Name?

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

Saving a substantial amount of money is an art these days. You don't have to be very creative to do it though; it is more a matter of choosing the best bang for your buck. If you are a parent, then you can start saving immediately by buying the store brand formula.

Compared to the brand formula, the store brand is about half the price, but nutrition wise just as good. It has to be, otherwise it would not live up to the standards, regulations, and requirements, set by both the FDA and the Infant Formula Act. It would not get approved and never make it to the store.

Parents usually buy the brand, because the name instills trust that it is the best product around. That is rather deceptive; when you compare the quality of the brand to the private label infant formula then there is no difference whatsoever. The difference is in the fact that the brand name costs $600 more a year per baby. How is that for a costly mistake?

The reason for the lower price of the store brand formulas is simple: less advertisement and marketing costs and the product is not freely given away to hospitals. That saves a lot of money which results in parents having to pay less for the same.

It makes you reconsider; what's in a name, huh?!
