The Sound Of Silence

September 8, 2010.
Both little Kc and Leo were invited to a party and their mom came to pick up little critter. After the party he would be going home and we would see them again the next Sunday.
Little Kc was all excited and looking forward to the party; he is always in for fun and had no problems leaving. He was out the door before we knew it and the very first few minutes the silence was peaceful and welcomed by all of us.
That really lasted only a few minutes; after that we already missed the little guy. No more pitter-patter of those little feet, the air was no longer filled with the sounds of his voice, play, laughter and questions; it was filled with the sound of silence.
A deafening silence! :-)
