Taking Off
Date of occurrence:
August 22, 2010.
Emmy is 10 months and 2 weeks old.
Yup, Prior to my previous posts, little Emmy started walking and even though she still needs the comfort and assurance of holding our hands; the second she has that, she takes off with such velocity that it is hard keeping up with her.
She is not yet aware of the fact that she is actually walking all by herself, but I can understand the insecurity. It will not take much longer before she takes off all by herself. Her big brothers better watch out; even though they are rather swift on their feet as well, they may no longer be able to outrun her with the toys she would like to play with.
We may end up refereeing. However, given time, those things tend to work themselves out over time! :-)
