Thank You!

This post brought to you by Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.

Our son in law is waiting to be deployed and we are not sure yet when or where he would be going, but he will be home this weekend to spend some time with his family.

I have a great admiration for all those who are willing to risk their lives so that others can have a life. The courage, the dedication, the determination, and the commitment of all our military members have and still make a great difference. Even though it is not much compared to all they do, a heartfelt 'THANK YOU!' is in order.

Dollar General has a unique way of showing their appreciation and gratitude to all Veterans, active military, members of the national guard and their family members; they thank them by giving them a 10% off discount on November 11.

This discount is a ONE DAY EVENT and only valid on Veterans Day. There are a few items which are excluded from the offer, like Cell Phone Minutes, Rug Doctor Items, Lottery Tickets, Propane, Wine, Beer, and all prepaid items (i.e. Gift Cards).

The restricted category however is but a fraction of all the inexpensive, quality items which are available at the Dollar General and I think it is a wonderful way of showing gratitude and appreciation to all those who are and have been in the military.

I hope this initiative will have many followers!
