Biding Their Time

I am fully aware that children, especially the small ones, don't have any notion about time. If I hadn't been aware of that fact then our oldest grandson would have seen to it. A minute seems like an eternity to them and patience is not something they have very often, but then again; who does??? :-)

I can imagine that during the day of this upcoming Halloween, it will take forever before they can finally go 'trick or treat'. It would probably be wise to have some activities planned to keep them busy until it is time to go.

My experience is that children love to do a craft or hobby and there are lots of crafts they can do, to pass the time. It may be a good idea to print out some coloring pages and have the crayons, coloring pencils, and water paint ready.

Sticking with the Halloween theme; there are enough creepy images for them to color. I suspect it may even enhance the fun and get the impatience out of their system in the mean time!
