Some Curb Appeal

This post brought to you by Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done.. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love flowers, but nothing I plant seems to work; the dog digs up the bulbs as soon as I turn my back, our pretty little granddaughter pulls them out of the pot as soon as they come up and I am planting bulbs which simply can't stand the heat of our summers.

I had to visit www.digdropdone.com to learn more and could identify with Juliana's creativity who suggested putting pots out on the porch. This would work, especially when I put them out on the front porch where they are safe from little hands and digging dog paws.

The site is easy to use and there are some good suggestions, hints and tips. The Planting Guide at Curbside Chaos gave me some good pointers on which bulbs to plant and how.

I always thought bulbs were just for outside, but bulbs go way beyond just gardening! They are so easy to grow; they can flourish inside as well without any problem. The possibilities are endless and I found many creative and inspirational ideas, gifts and examples which are fun for the entire family.

I could even win a $5,000 yard makeover and also would be looking forward to a visit from Taniya Nayak (@TaniyaNayak on Twitter), when I enter the “Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done.” contest by submitting a photo of our yard at CurbsideChaos.com. I sure could use the tips and ideas Taniya would be giving on how best to update and incorporate flower bulbs in our yard.

Why don't you enter the contest and also share "Bulbs. Dig, Drop, Done." on Twitter? For every Tweet $1.00 will be donated to Rebuilding Together; the nation’s leading nonprofit organization, working to preserve affordable home ownership and revitalize communities.

I am ready to plant some bulbs, kick the chaos to the curb and give our exterior and interior some curb appeal!
