Splash, Splash, Splash
Date of occurrence:
September 17, 2011.
Even though the water was very tempting, little Miss Emmaly was a little scared of it at first. She didn't want to get in it, but after taking her by the hand, she and I walked 'the thin line' so to speak; the line where the waves barely made it onto shore and then withdrew again.
Each time a wave came ashore, I splashed around in it with my feet and she thought that was so funny, she had to try it too and in no time, she was in her mom's arms and up to her shoulders in the water.
After all that new excitement, hunger set in and it was time for a snack. Oops, no spoons available, but that didn't decrease the appetite. Mom quickly came up with a solution, Emmaly ended up eating her treat, and we ended up with a cute, but messy memory! Grin.
