A Pain In The Neck

Date of occurrence:
February 19, 2012.

Levi had seen the doctor, because he developed a case of the thrush. We have dealt with that before with our other grandchildren when they were infants and know from experience that it is easily cured these days.

What was not so easily cured was the blockage Levi had in the left side of his little neck. It was blocked to the point where he couldn't turn his head all the way without it hurting him and he had to see a physiotherapist.

He concluded that it should clear up in two to three treatments and the cure would seem worse then it actually was. Our little guy shouldn't feel any pain and while mom had to hold his little legs, the physiotherapist quickly and professionally did his job.

It was over in no time, but the poor little critter didn't like it one bit and started crying, which brought mom to tears as well. I can imagine; just the thought of it made me cringe and although it was necessary, we hope it is fixed and he doesn't have to endure this anymore.

It is a 'pain in the neck' on every account!
