I Had A Dream

Date of occurrence:
December 26, 2013.

The kids are over to celebrate Christmas with us, but mostly of course to find out what Santa Claus brought them. They will have to wait until a little longer though, because we have some colds and flu going around the family this year and we are shooting for tomorrow.

Our granddaughter Emmaly is still being referred to as Princess Wooky Wonderfoot.

She doesn't like that and voices her dismay on a regular basis. She informs us that she would like to be called Princess Emmaly.

Aunt A. gets in on the teasing. She had brought back a necklace from one of her trips for Emmaly with a colorful pendant on it.

She tells Emmaly that the pendant is called the Wonderfoot stone and can only be worn by Princess Wonderfoot.

Not able to ignore and reject such a beautiful necklace, Emmaly compromises and gracefully allows us to call her Princess Emmaly Wooky Wonderfoot.

After a good night's rest, our little princess got up early this morning. When Opa inquires if she slept well, her eyes and face light up and enthusiastically she tells him: "I had a dream. I want to be called Princess Emmaly Wonderfoot"! Well, guess what? There are times when dreams do come true.

And this is one of them! :-)
