Touching Base

May 30, 2014.
Kc is doing real well at school. He made the goal where reading is concerned and as a reward he got tickets to our area's professional baseball team.
He can't be more excited, but unfortunately the weather is not cooperating and, due to heavy rain, the game is postponed.
That doesn't diminish his excitement one bit and after another two weeks of waiting he can finally claim his reward.
Accompanied by his mom and aunt, he attends and finally can get a taste of the atmosphere in the stadium. Enthusiastically he cheers on the team, but the icing on the cake is the free meal that comes with the reward.
He had a great time although I am not so sure whether it was the game, the free meal, or both which he enjoyed so much.
I probably ought to touch base with him on that!
