Giving Thanks
Date of occurrence:
November 27, 2014.
Although it didn't seem like we would have many of our loved ones over this year, things worked out differently and we had a full house.
Both daughters plus boyfriend/spouse, all the kids, and a friend of the family dropped in late in the afternoon.
They had already enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner somewhere else, but that didn't withhold them from attacking ours.
The kids were a little out of sorts; Bell was in a bad mood, but I got her to laugh anyway.
Leo got knocked in the head by a door thanks to his sister, and Kc couldn't understand why I wouldn't go and play on the computer with him while we were having company.
In spite of that, all went well and we had an unexpected, but wonderful Thanksgiving!
