Jamboree On The Air
Date of occurrence:
October 15, 2016.
This is an exciting weekend for the scouts; they have their Jamboree On The Air (JOTA).
With the use of a Ham radio they will try to connect with other scouts in the country.
The hope is they even will communicate and share some info with scouts all over the world.
Our Webelos is looking forward to it and can't wait until it is time to go.
They manage to connect with some scout troops in our state and Kc gets to talk to several Ham users in other states.
He loves it and does a good job. He likes it so much, he decides he wants to get a license to operate a Ham radio when he is older.
Uh, oh. I can see that turn into a major Jamboree!:-)
