Best Day Ever

Date of occurrence:
September 23, 2016.

The Scouts are camping out at a historical park this weekend. It is a longer drive then usual and Kc and aunt A. are late getting to their destination.

They set up their tents in the dark and Kc is convinced Opa told him to leave his mosquito netting open, so it wouldn't get too hot in his tent.

It doesn't make sense to aunt A. and they get into a discussion.

The problem is quickly solved though when Kc calls Opa and asks him to shed some light on the situation.

Opa tells him to close the 'fly' net as Kc calls it, so he won't be on the mosquitoes menu, but to keep the rain fly of the tent open to let some cool air in.

That settles the dispute and as they enjoy the night sky, Kc sums up everything that made an impression on him today: he saw a rainbow, a pretty sky, and beautiful stars.

He tells her it is the best day ever!
