Emmaly's Treasures

July 14, 2017.
The last couple of days Emmaly has spent some time with us all by herself. She truly enjoys all the undivided attention and loves playing by herself without 'being pestered' as she calls it.
She and I made a special box for her last week. She chose the shells and other items to adorn the lid and is gathering up things she would like to take with her when she goes back home.
I can't help but smile when I see the contents; papers, her 'credit' cards, keys, some jewelry including the macaroni necklace and bracelet we made, and some other trinkets that are near and dear to her.
Emmaly already has a place in mind where in her room she is going to put it. She isn't finished yet and soon we will go through some other toys, etc. to see what else she can fill her box with.
We have a suspicion she is not just collecting cherished keepsakes, but also the most precious treasure of all.
