Let's Party!

Date of occurrence:
December 5, 2009.
Leo is 1 year and 10 months old and Kc is 2 years and 10 months old.

Our oldest was invited to a Birtday party from one of the children of her church family and was told to bring both boys. The boys had been to Birthday parties before, but nothing as big as this one and it was a nice opportunity for them to have some fun and interact
with other children.

There were a little overwhelmed at first; so many people, so many other critters and so many things to play in, on and with, but that did not last very long and soon they were taking part in the action.

The huge air-filled slide grabbed their attention and little Leo needed some help getting up the stairs. He needed some help sliding down as well; I guess the height was a little intimidating. His aunt was more then happy to assist him and once he was 'down to earth', he laughed his little head off. I am not sure whether that was because he thought the slide was fun or because he was glad they made it safely back down.

Lil' Kc on the other hand had no problems with either the climb up nor the way down, as you can see.

I couldn't go because my back was practically out, but as soon as they came back and lil' Kc stepped through the door he came running up to me and tried to tell me all about it in his own little language. Their excitement was catching and we were thankful they enjoyed themselves.

Yup, the boys had great fun and because they did, so did we!

Audrey,
