I Will Take Care Of You
Date of occurrence:
September 30, 2011.
I am not feeling so very spiffy; my throat hurts, my head aches and I am so tired that I feel like I could sleep all day. Yup, I probably am getting the same cold the boys brought over last weekend.
We know the boys are and have been looking forward all week to come over and spend the weekend with us, but considering the state I am in; I don't think I am capable of taking care of both of them.
After having talked to their mom, we decided to let one come over and since she mentioned that little Kc had been asking all week when Opa and Oma were coming to get him, she thought it would be best if we picked him up by himself.
We don't mind; the little critter is no problem at all. He always likes to help out and doesn't need to be constantly watched, run after, and checked upon. Opa can easily manage and take care of him by himself, if need be.
So, Opa leaves to pick up our oldest grandson and upon return, the little guy comes in, walks up to me and the first thing out of his mouth are the following words; "You're sick Oma. I will take care of you!"
Aww, how sweet. I felt better already! :-)
