The Positive Effort

Date of occurrence:
October 29, 2011.

Looking at this steep climb to the beginning of the slide, high above the ground, already ensures my vertigo is kicking in.

Our little dare-devils however don't even think twice about it and can't get to the slide quick enough.

They make such short notice of these stairs; it would make you think they have done nothing else in their lives and are very accustomed to and familiar with staircases.

Not all that appears true is true and in this case it certainly isn't, because they hardly ever have and had to climb any stairs, except for getting to the top of a slide or the top floor of a playhouse.

I know; they just don't see the danger in any of their actions and they don't think about it either. They see the goal in front of their eyes and are already anticipate the fun it will bring.

Their efforts are not geared towards "not stumbling and/or falling", but towards "reaching the top and sliding down".

Maybe that is the key to success: making something a positive effort, instead of a negative one!
