Santa's Helpers
Date of occurrence:
December 3, 2011.
We are early setting up the Christmas tree this year, but we decided to do so while our grandsons were still around to help. They will be leaving soon to stay with their dad for a couple of weeks and since Aunt A. was coming over as well, we turned it into sort of a family affair.
We try to do that each year, but this year the boys are old and careful enough to help out and with each box that was being brought in, their excitement grew.
They were a great help with the assembly of our artificial tree, unwrapping the delicate ornaments, and hanging all the decorations.
Within no time, our home was taken from the regular, daily environment to a seasonal, festive atmosphere, but we were not done yet. There was one more transformation to make.
Santa has two extra helpers this year who are eager in helping him getting rid of all his presents! Grin.
