Some Privacy, Please?

July 3, 2012.
One of the things that are a good indicator that those little ones are growing up is when they start asking for some privacy.
Our oldest grandson apparently has reached that point where he grasped the concept and importance of modesty and although not outright asking for some privacy, he made clear that was what he needed.
Their aunt and I were getting the children ready for bed and while aunt A. was gathering up Leo's pajamas and clean underwear, I was seeing to all the things necessary for Kc to change into his nighttime apparel. Upon asking him if he needed help changing, the almost five and a half year old kindly declined, but made no effort taking off his clothes.
Instead, he looked around the room, glanced at his aunt, his brother, his sister, and me, and with a serious look on his face said; "I got to get naked"! His aunt and I looked at each other and laughed, but directed everyone out of the room giving him what he indirectly asked for; some privacy!
