A Delayed Christmas

Date of occurrence:
December 27, 2013.

After having been delayed for a couple of days due to sickness, Santa Claus finally made it to our abode. We were thankful noticing that he must have been up to his old self again, because he sure had no problem hauling in a load of presents.

The grandkids had no problem either making short notice of all those gifts. They were unwrapped in no time.

The boys dove into their Lego and, with the assistance of a helping hand, created a space station, police truck, and all kinds of other things.

Miss Emmaly paraded through the living room in her new princess pajamas and with all her other princess stuff, while Bell had her heart set on walking around, being supported by Leo's hands.

All that unwrapping and playing must have unleashed their appetite since Christmas dinner magically disappeared into those little tummies.

The fun didn't stop there; Aunt A. had planned a sleepover in the living room for that night. We will see how that goes, although I am not so sure that is such a good idea.

By the time they finally get to lay down, the sleep is over!
