A-maze-d

October 10, 2015.

We had gotten some coupons from the cub scouts with a reduction in admission for a family outing to a farm. The farm is well known for its fall and Halloween attractions around this time of year and Aunt A. and I thought it would be fun to take Kc there for a visit.

The first thing we did was trying to find our way through the giant corn field maze. That was not an easy task, but eventually we located the exit. After having walked in it for about an hour, we took the hayride, enjoyed the scenery and rested our feet.

And then the journey continued. Kc jumped, slid down a gigantic slide, shot corn cobs out of air guns at wooden animal targets, took a seat in an over sized rocking chair, visited the petting zoo, and tried his hand at the lasso.



He would not make a good cow hand and it was a good thing both horse and calf were fake, because he caught the horse he was sitting on more often then not and the poor calf would still be roaming around.

After that, it was nice to take a breather in the midst of a gorgeous fall display. All in all, it was a beautiful and enjoyable day.
