Bye Bye

Date of occurrence:
December 7, 2009.

Well, the boys got picked up by their mom today and I am having some mixed feelings about the silence; in one way it is peaceful and in another way it is just deafening.

Leo just stormed out the door when it was time to leave. Lil' Kc gave hugs, told us bye, bye and was blowing hand kisses after he got in the car.

Yeah, we miss those little rascals, even though they were quite a few handfuls. I think what bothers us most, or at least me, is the not knowing when or even if we will see them again.

It is odd how at first we had to get used to them being around, but a routine developed rather quick. After them being here day and night for so long, home somehow does not seem to be the same without them.

Oh well, such is life. We can only hope and pray it will not be too long before we see them again. We are already looking forward to it! :-)

Hi Corry,

Been there and had those feelings and you think and hope they will be back soon ! Andrew my oldest grandson stayed with us the first 2 years of his life and they snatched him up and went to germany ? Military ?
They were gone for three years and I shore did miss carring him to the neighbor store after supper and getting Him a banana popsicle !

Blessings and thanks for bringing back memorys !

Grandpaw,
I know you can relate and I am sorry you had to go through all that, but I think it had a major and very positive effect on your grandson. Beside the hurt, there are many wonderful memories as well and we are very thankful for them. :-)

You and yours are in our prayers!

God's Grace.
