Shopping Cheaper

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

When we were keeping our granddaughter, we switched from a brand name formula to Parent's Choice. The reason was that it was almost half the price then what we paid for the brand name and going through a can a week that saved us a huge amount of money.

Quality wise, they are both equally as good and FDA approved. So, why spend more money for the same product then is necessary? Being Dutch, that makes no sense to me.

We already buy a lot of store brand products and our experience is that many are just as good, and at times even better, then the private labels.

It so turns out that we are not the only ones; a recently held survey shows that 57% of the shoppers buy them on a regular basis and 62% are planning on doing the same in the near future.

According to the survey: Recession, Recovery & Store Brands, 97% of those who already made the switch are very satisfied and even 49% of them consider the store brand “very favorably” compared to the private labels.

The latter has increased 14% from June 2009 and more consumers are following in the same footsteps. Another 43% is giving store brands a try, instead of the national brands they would normally purchase.

No wonder; the recession has hit hard financially and even though it is said to be on the rebound, it is not noticeable in our wallets. Many consider it to be even worse.

Every penny saved is a penny earned. Keep that in mind, the next time you go grocery shopping!
