Thanksgiving Day

Everyone has been looking forward to spending Thanksgiving Day together, but our grandsons in particular. This is mainly due to all the goodies they watched me prepare in the kitchen.
I suppose being able to sample most of them gave them both the appetite and impatience to where they could hardly wait until the time had arrived when they could finally dig in and eat to their hearts' content.
Even though the entire family was not complete, it still was good to see how those present enjoyed each other's company and the meal. It was well worth the time and effort spent in the kitchen, but the downside of it was that I totally forgot to take pictures.
How silly of me, but we hope to have many more Thanksgivings to look forward to and experience in the future, God willing. Maybe even in the company of all our loved ones!
