Happy Birthday, Leo!
Date of occurrence:
January 30, 2013.
Yup, Leo is turning five years old today and we got to talk to the birthday boy and his siblings on face time.
Since Kc's Birthday is next week, we combined the money we had set aside for Christmas and Birthday gifts and bought all of them a play fort.
We took the phone outside to show them their present and the children were thrilled and looking forward to play on it.
Leo was excited to tell us everything about the chocolate cake with dots on it he got, and the many more presents like crayons, stickers, and I don't know what else. He sure got showered with gifts and we were happy for him.
Dad was not so happy. It turned out, as he told us later when the kids were out of the room, that they had bought the exact same play fort. They will be moving to Birmingham next week where he intends to set it up at their new home.
We were supposed to keep the children during the week of the move, but Dad changed his mind about that since Kc has to go to school. In return, they would be allowed to stay an extra week during summer vacation.
We sure hope to greet them before the month of July. We have to wait and see, but for now it is Leo's big day and we hope it is a great one.
Happy Birthday, Leo! We love you!

Audrey,
Yes, I know. It all goes way too fast. Sigh.
