Bell's First Birthday

Isabella is 1 year and 1 day old.

Happy first Birthday, Bell!

Our youngest granddaughter Isabella had her very first Birthday yesterday.

We planned her party for today and got the banner, balloons, cake, and presents ready for the festivities.

Bell got a small cake of her own. We decided to let her do with it as she pleased. To our big surprise she was not very eager to get into it.

She examined it closely and picked off a tiny piece of icing. She sampled it carefully and after getting her approval she picked off a few more and made them disappear.

She sure loved her presents and while she was playing with them on the floor I went into the kitchen to get something out of the fridge.

I wasn't aware the little critter had gone in stealth-mode and had quickly and quietly crawled into the kitchen with me.

She was right beside me and as soon as I opened the appliance she stuck her head in the refrigerator and uttered an enthusiastic; "Yeahhhh".

It became quite apparent she already knew that the best place to be is in the kitchen!
