Meeting The Teacher
Date of occurrence:
August 6, 2014.
Kc will be going to 2nd grade this year and school is starting up again tomorrow. This afternoon we have the opportunity to make our acquaintance with Kc's new teacher, check out his classroom, and drop off school supplies.
Mom, I, and Kc are loaded up and have no trouble finding his classroom. His new teacher is really nice and after having talked to her, filling out forms, and dropping off the necessary materials and supplies, it is time for us to leave.
Before we exit the room though, she asks if Kc does hugs. Yes, he does, upon which she gives him a good ole bear hug.
That is an excellent start of the year and we can only hope he will earn many more of those!
