News Flash

Date of occurrence:
June 26, 2015.

Kc and aunt A. are at the Scout Resident Camp for several days. They left last Thursday and will be back Sunday afternoon.

Their agenda is overflowing with all kinds of cool activities. So much so, that there is even hardly any time for a phone call to give us an update.

They are having a ball, but are exhausted at the end of each day.

We can only imagine. Hopefully, the weather is cooperating and all those scattered thunderstorms are passing them up.


Yesterday, aunt A. gave us a quick call telling us we had to watch the local news.

The cameras were present at camp and several shots were taken. Most importantly however was that they had interviewed our grandson! That is so cool.

We scheduled recordings of the news, waited and watched.

An overall shot of an assembly of all the scouts was our reward. It came on right before the weather forecast and was over before we knew it.

It went so quick we didn't see Kc, but we knew he was somewhere in that large group of scouts. At least we got something to brag about.
