The wolf
Date of occurrence:
June 1, 2015.
Kc has a big day ahead of him. It is the last day of school and he has his award ceremony tonight at the cub scouts.
At 5 am he gets up, but he is all shaky and tells me he feels like he has to throw up. He gets a few sips to drink and agrees to go back to bed.
He is heading that way when he has to make a pit stop at the restroom and deposits the contents of his stomach in the porcelain throne.
He goes back to bed, sleeps for another hour and a half, wakes up, and has to make another run for it. This goes on almost all morning, poor little man.
It is needless to say he didn't go to school and we hope he doesn't have to miss out on his awards. He worked so hard for it and has been looking forward to getting his wolf badge.
Around noon, he starts to feel better and eventually says he is hungry.
We give him some toast and wait to see if it stays down.It sure does and by late afternoon, he is his old self again.
We are so thankful and he is able to attend the ceremony accompanied by Mom, aunt A. and myself.
He enjoys a hotdog, jumps on the inflatable, and makes S'mores at the fire-pits.
The main thing though is being awarded with two more beads, his wolf badge, and three additional arrow points. We are so proud of and for him.
And so is he!
