Father's Day

Date of occurrence:
June 21, 2015.

Isabella is something else: one minute she is laughing, posing willingly for the camera saying 'cheese', and having fun.

The next minute the terrible twos rear their ugly heads and she is sitting on the floor in the hallway pouting, griping and complaining.

I go over and sit down in front of her. She lifts up her head with a puzzled look, not knowing what to expect.
Me: "Okay, girl. Let's talk. What's wrong?"
Isabella: "Mesha nena woom. Iggynet car heava toy."

Out of all her gibberish I pick up the words room, car, and toy, and quickly gather she wants to get another toy out of the guest room to play with. I noticed how dad got her out of there and figured he wouldn't allow her to go in there by herself.

The problem is easily solved by telling her to exchange one toy she already has out for another and accompany her while she picks out a different toy.

It's back to the fun stuff. Big brother is all up for that too and joins in.

Our home is full of family, laughter fills the air and Opa is showered with love, affection, and gifts.

All in all it is a great Father's Day!
