... And There It Is!

January 2, 2010.
Emmy is 2 months and 3 weeks old.
Emmy started the new year well! Suspecting, expecting and highly anticipating that time would not be too far away anymore, Emmy surprised us anyway with a dazzling smile.
She is not shy with her smiles either, but they disappear as quickly as they appear and even though we have the camera handy, we have been just a little too late to catch her in the middle of it.
I happened to capture her just as her smile was fading, but you can still vaguely make it out in the picture. I know we will have many more opportunities now getting a good shot and we will.
I don't think the little critter has any notion what a huge impact her smile had. She made our year! :-)
