A Cool Nerd

April 2, 2014.
Our oldest grandson has settled in and is slowly but surely getting in the swing of things. That also means he is going to church on the Wednesdays and his aunt is more then happy to take him with her.
He loves it and can't wait until she gets here to pick him up. Today even more so, because it is 'nerd' day at church and everyone is supposed to dress up geeky. Uh oh, that means we have a problem on our hands.
How do we turn such a cool looking guy into a nerd? After some consideration we came up with a solution. Clothes were found pretty quickly. Lots of gel kept his curly hair combed back and to top it off, his aunt put some out-dated glasses on his nose.
After taking a few pictures, they are ready to go and as they walk out the door I can't help but think that in spite of all our efforts I think it is to no avail.
Even as a nerd he still looks cool!
